Hi @Zeeshan33,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you've removed the display from your all-in-one PC and are trying to use an external monitor via the HDMI port, but you’re experiencing issues with the power indicator and getting no display.

Here’s a checklist to troubleshoot.

Check Connections:

  • Ensure that the HDMI cable is securely connected to both the PC and the external monitor.
  • Try using a different HDMI cable to rule out cable issues.

Monitor Input Source:

  • Make sure the external monitor is set to the correct input source (HDMI). This can usually be adjusted through the monitor’s on-screen menu.

Power Issues:

  • If the corner light on the all-in-one PC is flickering or turning off and on, there might be a power issue. Ensure that the power supply is properly connected and functioning.

PC Restart:

  • Try restarting the PC with the external monitor connected. Sometimes a restart can help the system recognize the new display setup.

Check Display Settings:

  • If you can access the system's BIOS or UEFI settings (often by pressing a key like F2, F10, or DEL during startup), check if the HDMI output is enabled.

External Monitor Check:

  • Test the external monitor with another device to ensure it’s working correctly.

BIOS Update:

  • If you can access BIOS or UEFI, make sure the firmware is up to date. An outdated BIOS might have trouble recognizing external displays.

Safe Mode:

  • Boot into Safe Mode (you might need to use a USB keyboard to do this if the all-in-one’s display isn’t working) to see if the external monitor works there. Safe Mode uses basic drivers that might help if there’s a driver issue.

Hardware Reset:

  • Perform a hardware reset by disconnecting all power sources and holding down the power button for 30 seconds. Then reconnect and try again.

If none of these steps work, there might be an issue with the internal hardware of the all-in-one PC or a setting that needs adjustment in BIOS.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
