I am looking for the latest driver marked, hp DVD-RAM GHA3N. The Update available is 6.3.9600.16384 (released Jun 20, 2013). Somewhere there is a version of this I can download and update my driver which is 10.0,19041.3636 (released Jun 20, 2006). You would think this would not be hard but it is ending up not so easy.

I really want to respond to this thread: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Operating-Systems-and-Recovery/hp-DVD-RAM-GHA3N-The-Update-ava...- but it is closed.

I also can find no way to message the user: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/1357231

I tried to add the download URL as a tag to the original post, but had to heavily modify it for it to even be accepted.  I will thus add it to this post and hope some kind soul from HP can manage to maybe merge these threads?

Anyway - the driver that Norton keeps nagging about is available from Microsoft here:

https://catalog.s.download.windowsupdate.com/d/msdownload/update/driver/drvs/2015/12/20698972_958d0c...

The page describing it is here: https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/ScopedViewInline.aspx?updateid=7a48036b-5002-4023-b524-cb85...

Hope that helps!

[edit: found some more details: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Community-Feedback-Suggestions/How-do-I-mention-a-user-in-a-post-and-s...- apparently I don't yet have enough 'Points' to even be able to tag another user in a post.  Sad.  Oh well.]
