Hi there!
This system comes with Win 11, MZVLQ512HBLU-00$00/07 512GB | SSD and 8GB ram (1 stick)
I'd like to know if this system has a slot for a regular 720 rpm SATA HDD, would like to add one if possible. If it does, would the drive from M01-F1033wb work in dp0053w?
I mostly use it for browsing (use multiple chrome browsers with multiple tabs in each)
It seems like this system (win 11) works much smoother with 8GB of ram compared to my other system (M01-F1033wb Win 10, came with 8GB) with SATA HDD. It also seems much better than my old 570-p033w HP I7-7700 with 16gb.
Does this performance boost have to do with SSD vs SATA (swap files) or is win11 so much better at managing memory?
I had to upgrade my M01-F1033wb to 32GB (from 8gb to make it usable.
According to crucial dp0053w takes a maximum of 32GB. Is that accurate? Is it OK to add just 16gb stick, making it 24gb or to matching sticks is somehow preferred? Again, I only use this desktop for web browsing
Thanks.
thanks

I believe it has as shown on the following machine
Its motherboard does does not show where to plug the SATA drive (HDD)

You have to open your machine to find out.
Regards.

So, the below means slot is already taken?
Expansion slots
NOTE:The configuration might vary depending on your model.
- One M.2 socket 1, 2230 type for WLAN and Bluetooth
- One M.2 socket 3, 2280 type for SSD (PCIe x2 or SATA x1)
And the other question I had about 8GB RAM - what exactly makes this machine work faster than other computers I have/had with 8 and 16gb? Is it the SDD drive used for swap files or Win11? I'm debating if I should upgrade memory on it or not and if yes how much memory I should add. It has 2 slots, 1 is used with 8gb. So far, I'm very surprised by its performance
Thanks!
