windows xp cannot be booted and keep restart in boot mode.
Press F11 into recovery mode, it mentioned all data will lose, then after press "ESC"
recovery mode seem like start to backup and recovery, after 25 minutes,
windows XP work as normal but it restore to default in year 2009,
all data and software gone like formatted.
can it restore back to normal?
any step was wrong?
or I have not processed System Restore?

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!
The backup and recovery did EXACTLY what it said it was going to do -- remove everything that was on the drive. That's how it works -- you even mentioned that it provided you that warning!
Your only option to recovery ANY files at this point is to use file recovery applications, and for that, you would need to remove the drive from your PC, connect it to another PC, download and install file recovery applications, and run them to see what they can find.
Here is one such app: http://www.majorgeeks.com/news/story/recover_data_in_3_steps_with_minitool_power_data_recovery_free_...
If that tool does not find what you need, an alternative is Recuva http://www.piriform.com/recuva
And, if that does not work well, the best tool out there is this one, but only the trial version is free http://www.file-recovery.com/
