Hi @Andy525,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear your HP Pavilion Mini Desktop 300-030na is stuck in a boot loop with the DRIVER_PNP_WATCHDOG error. You’ve already done a great job running diagnostics on the memory and hard drive—those passing are a good sign.
1. Disconnect All Peripherals
First, unplug all USB devices (except keyboard/mouse), including:
- USB drives
- Printers
- External HDDs
- Game controllers
Then try booting again.
2. Enter Safe Mode
Try booting into Safe Mode via the recovery environment:
- Power on the PC and hold the power button to force a shutdown as it’s booting. Repeat this 3 times to trigger Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE).
- Click Advanced Options > Startup Settings > Restart.
- On the options screen, press 4 or F4 for Safe Mode or 5/F5 for Safe Mode with Networking.
If you can boot into Safe Mode, you can uninstall recent drivers or updates from:
Settings > Windows Update > Update History > Uninstall updates
3. System Restore (if available)
Still in the recovery environment:
- Go to Advanced Options > System Restore
- Choose a restore point before the issue began (e.g., before the movie night)
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
