Hi @Alba11111,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

When encountering the blue screen error 0xc0000001 and being unable to enter Windows Recovery on your HP laptop, follow these steps to try and resolve the issue.

Create a Windows Installation Media:

  • Use a separate computer to download the Windows Installation Media from Microsoft's official site.
  • Create a bootable USB drive using the Windows Installation Media tool.

Boot from USB Drive:

  • Insert the bootable USB drive into the affected laptop.
  • Restart the laptop and immediately press the ESC key repeatedly to enter the Startup Menu, then F9 to access the Boot Device Options.
  • Select the USB drive from the list to boot.

Run Startup Repair:

  • Once the installation screen appears, choose "Repair your computer" instead of "Install Now."
  • Navigate to Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Repair.
  • Let the repair process run; it might be able to automatically fix the issue.

System Restore:

  • From the Advanced Options menu (accessible via the method above), select "System Restore."
  • If there's a restore point available, revert your system to a previous state prior to when the problem started.

Command Prompt Methods:

  • Access Command Prompt from Advanced Options:
    • Use the command chkdsk /f /r C: to check the main drive for errors and repair them.
    • Execute sfc /scannow to run the System File Checker to identify and fix corrupted system files.

Check for Hardware Faults:

  • Ensure there are no peripheral devices connected that may cause issues.
  • If possible, re-seat the RAM and storage drives, or run diagnostics from the BIOS.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
