So, i had an issues due to i couldn't boot windows, then i fixed it by disable secure boot and install new windows os. after that, everything it find my problem it fixed and i can boot up my windows normally. and i thought my problem was solved so i went back to enable secure boot again. but the red screen is back that said " invalid signature detected. Check secure boot policy in setup." like before i disable secure boot. So i have to disable the secure boot again for windows to boot up.

---my condition---

- my pc can boot completely find if i disable secure boot

- when i fixed my pc i didnt do anything other than install windows using usb drive, and disable secure boot

- the problem happened after i transport my pc to my dorm

you can ask me anything for more info.
thank you, for reading

Hi @Mckenz1e

When you install Windows without Secure Boot, it is installed in legacy mode, which is how older BIOS systems worked. So, when you enable Secure Boot—which is UEFI mode—you’ll need to reinstall Windows. In short, you can either install Windows in legacy mode or install it with Secure Boot already enabled before.

Hi, @Mckenz1e

If Windows is installed in legacy mode, you can also convert the MBR partition table to GPT, restart the PC go into the BIOS, and enable secure boot without the need to reinstall Windows.

For more info.

my bios mode is UEFI

partition style : GUID Partition Table (GPT)

I already tried the Load HP factory default keys method but it still doesn't work either.

And Thank you, again to everyone for replying to my post

You're very welcome.

Unfortunately, I don't know what the problem could be.

What is the full model number or product number of your PC?

Did it originally come with Windows from HP?

Hi again, @Paul_Tikkanen

My product number is 7XD52AA#AKL.
And yes, my windows come from HP.

Thank you, for responding

Hi:

See if this works...

Your PC is supported by the HP cloud recovery tool which you can use to create a bootable USB recovery drive to restore the original HP factory image on your notebook's drive.

Here is an info link for how to use the utility.

HP Consumer PCs - Using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool in Windows | HP® Support

After you create the recovery media, set the BIOS to its defaults and see if you can use the HP cloud recovery tool media with the BIOS set to its defaults which should include secure boot being enabled.

Hi @Mckenz1e

What you're saying is very strange; UEFI only works with Secure Boot enabled. UEFI cannot run in legacy mode.

- Have you tried deleting all the partitions and installing Windows with Secure Boot enabled?

- What error do you get when you try to install Windows with Secure Boot enabled?
