i want to know if there is a free upgrade from windows 7 to windows 10.I had it downloaded on this pc before but had to later down the road do a system recovery

To follow up on what mdklassen posted, here is the info you need to reinstall W10 for free...

 

Since you have W7 on there now, simply click on the Update Now button at the link below, and W10 will install over W7.

 

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

 

W10 will install and automatically activate once you are connected to the internet.

If you mean that you downloaded it *AND* then installed Windows 10, then you have been granted a "digital entitlement" to re-install Windows 10, at any time, at no cost to you.  OK?
