@RustedLegend,

The links you posted show either a 24-pin ATX power supply -which by definition is not compatible with HP's proprietary power supply/motherboard designs, or other incompatible HP power supplies.

Look, I gave you three legit purchase options. Take or leave it.

The 365 PC Power Supply Wholesale L69242-800 link for $79 is still the best purchase option, and one that I would use if I were to upgrade an HP Desktop - M01-F1033wb.

Btw, firing off haphazard power supply options is not terribly useful, imo. To be clear, I purchase almost weekly from Amazon too, but never to buy legacy HP power supplies -that's where eBay, AliExpress, or the aforementioned 365 PC Power Supply comes to play to purchase affordable (out-)dated parts & accessories.

Kind Regards,

@RustedLegend,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

Your HP Desktop - M01-F1033wb (9EE50AA), according to: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-desktop-pc-m01-f1000i/32482405/model/35801263/document/c0668..., and: https://partsurfer.hp.com/partsurfer?searchtext=9EE50AA, is fitted with a 180-watt power supply, p/n: L81008-800 ("Power Supply - 180W ENT20 Gold"), and a Baker motherboard (SSID: 8768).

According to: https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/msi-gtx-1650-ventus-xs-oc.b6909, the minimum power supply needed for your MSI GTX 1650 VENTUS XS OC is at least 250 watt.

According to: Power Supply Cross Reference for specific models - HP Support Community - 7483923, there is a 400-watt power supply that is compatible with your motherboard, with p/n: L69242-800:

You can purchase one of these power supplies for $79 here: https://www.365powersupply.com/product/l69242-800-400w-power-supply-for-hp-86-pro-g2pro-288-g4-g5-mt....  This 400-watt power supply is also equipped with one 6+2-PCIe power cable, which would allow you to install a higher end graphics card too, if you so choose.

Hope this was helpful.

can i find the power supply on amazon since i dont trust many websites and amazon is one i do trust

@RustedLegend,

No, you cannot.

FYI: No reason to distrust 365 PC Power Supply Wholesale: 365powersupply.com Reviews | scam, legit or safe check | Scamadviser.  I would never suggest a site I wouldn't trust or haven't used myself.

There are few other online purchase options -search online yourself.

But anyways, here are the next two least expensive purchase options I could find:

1.) For $139 via eBay: New Internal PSU Power Supply For HP Envy TE01 Pavilion TG01TP01 400W L69242-800 5059998034813 | eBa...

2.) From HP for $192.20: HP Parts Store - HP Computer Parts - HP Printer Parts - Compaq Parts

i think i found a good one on amazon but im not sure if it compatible can you tell? Amazon.com: Mackertop 400W Power Supply PSU Compatible with HP 280 288 480 600 800 G3 G4 942332-001 ...

@RustedLegend,

That would indeed be a good deal if this power supply was compatible, which it is not.  The HP proprietary "P2" connector is different and not compatible with your desktop.

I'm sorry if I was being insensitive, I'm new to computers and I'm still learning. I like looking at every possible angle to figure out the best solution (and or price). I will most likely buy the one from eBay or the HP store itself, it's just something about the power supply 365 website that just looks sketchy / untrustworthy looking.

Thank you so much for all your knowledge and help, I hope  you have a merry Christmas or Hanuka or really anything you celebrate. Cya later and once more thanks for you help.
