Microsoft Windows 11

HP has installed software on my computer that is causing my cursor to skip. The cursor gets glitchy coming out of sleep. It also comes in and out. Have tried all the normal fixes.  Wired mouse instead of wireless, rebooted driver, video drivers, ran SFC and corrected any corrupt files. What's funny is that it stops after 5-6 minutes. Brought up task manager and found two processes spiking-they go from low to very high and cpu spikes and the glitching correspond to the high usage. The processes are Insights Process Info and HP-Plugin-executor. Can't STOP those processes while they are running. The Insights process goes on and off the list. After 5-6 minutes, they stabilize and the cpu usage goes back to normal and computer runs fine. I would like to uninstall these poor programs from my computer. Can I do so, and if so, how do I do it?

HP is known to hide its utilities so looking in Settings --> Apps to remove them fails to even find them.  But, you could try that.

Barring that, open Services (enter "services" (without the quotes) in the search area, and when the window opens, scroll down through it to see if these processes are there.  If they are, see if you can Disable them.

Good Luck
