Hi @nessenoe,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I don't know if McAfee is installed on your specific HP PC. However, many HP PCs come with antivirus software like McAfee pre-installed as part of a trial package. To check if McAfee is installed on your HP PC, follow these steps:

  1. Check the Start Menu:
    • Click on the Start menu and type "McAfee" in the search bar. If the application is installed, it should appear in the search results.

  2. Control Panel:
    • Open the Control Panel and navigate to "Programs and Features."
    • Look through the installed applications list for McAfee.

  3. System Tray:
    • Check the system tray (located in the bottom-right corner of your desktop). If McAfee is running, you might see its icon there.

If you cannot find McAfee through these methods, it may not be installed on your PC. You can also choose to install it by downloading it from McAfee's official website if you wish.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
