Hi:
HP never had recovery media available for download for your PC's model series.
Customers used to be able to order W7 recovery media for the PC.
HP discontinued sales of recovery media for that model series several years ago.
However, you can still order a recovery kit from this vendor at the link below...
Now, if your issue is that you just want W7 on there so you can upgrade to W8.1, then you can make your own plain W7 installation media as follows. You would use the W7 product key on your PC's case to activate the installation.
Click on the Windows ISO Downloader.exe link to download the tool to create the W7 ISO file download.
This link downloads a file that accesses the Microsoft Techbench W7 ISO files and generates the ISO file download you need.

Select the Windows COEM ISO file download for the version of W7 the product key is good for.
I have zipped up and attached the Microsoft utility below, that will allow you to either put the file on a USB flash drive or DVD, or you can use a different free utility such as Rufus.
Then you can install the drivers and available software from the PC's support page...

ok one thing i forgot to mention i dont have the original keyboard only a usb keyboard when i install this how do i do it so it basically wipes the drive so it only has the one windows 7 install on it and do it with the usb mouse as right now it has muliple partitons like 3 or 4 and it seems like it says the windows 7 is there but it doesnt load at all thats it had some error on the start up screen saying something like one of the files was not valid and it would just keep restarting computer on endless cycle which lead me to install windows 8.1 but thats messed up like i said it removed the backup media id like to have that so the drive is like i just bought it so if i need to go back to 7 for some reason like i find that with all the programs i run even 8.1 is too much i can use 7 and just recover using recovery manager each time if i do it the second way i have to worry about drivers and then the keyboard problems i dont think i can even find a replacement one anywhere to fit that port in back lol
