Greetings @Merrick_16
Welcome to the HP Forum.
You haven't provided a HP Product Number. No worries once you disclose the OS drive type (HDD or SSD).
Very sorry. I've got to ask a few questions.
Does your PC quickly load the Windows sign in screen when doing a cold boot?
Is the operating system installed on a slow HDD or a fast SSD? Wake from: hibernation or sleep would be faster if your PC has a SSD.
It would take longer to resume from sleep if your PC is hibernating or using Hybrid Sleep. This happens because the OS state is stored on the system drive when using hibernation.
Hybrid Sleep stores the system state on the HDD and in RAM.
Sleep stores everything in RAM.
Obviously sleep is where you want to go if you want the quickest wake up time.
