Does anyone know a fix for this error message ?

Smart check failed error ggf080-87g9qb-gxpt6j-60cd03

My computer will not boot and no bios access nor presence of any operating system.

 

Please help !

Greetings,

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

 

The error means your primary HDD is about to fail, or has failed.

 

You need to replace the HDD.

 

I hope you backup up data. Having a backup disk image would also a great time saver to get your operating system up and running on the new HDD or new SSD.

 

Data salvage may be possible. It depends on the extent of the damage to the existing HDD.
