Product: Z420 Workstation
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Just installed new SSD boot drive in my Z420 and found all the other drivers for WIN7 but still missing the PCI Serial Port driver, any suggestions would be much appreciated.

it was a 50-50 guess, and I lost on the first one.

 

Your PC needs the older version...Intel AMT LMS_SOL for AMT 7.xx

You need this driver for that device...Intel AMT LMS_SOL for AMT 8.xx

Thanks for the reply.  Just tried to install it and get an error message, said it wasn not compatable.  Any other info I can give you that might help?

Your model has both driver files listed on the support page, and I picked the wrong one first.

 

You can find the PCI serial port driver under the Software-System Management driver section.
