. I have a constant flickering of the screen and have tried the recommended solutions but nothing works. This began since Google Chrome was disbanded. There is also the constant mis-typing of characters to non-designated spaces. By this I mean I could be typing in this line and all of a sudden the cursor finds itself at some other place on the document which is very annoying and wastes time. The Caps button! misfunctions at will - means when I want lower case and its on lower case typing it goes off on its own frozen on all caps and the light in the button is not even on. Then it will come on all on its own and I begin to get lower case letters - With the Caps light on!

Hi @Tsahai
I am not sure what you are referring to when you state, "This began since Google Chrome was disbanded."
I can only guess you may have some hardware problems happening or the current Windows installation is really messed up. Like system file corruption or a graphics driver problem which is causing screen flickering.
All other Windows anomalies you are experiencing also suggest hardware issues or corrupt system files.
Check your PC's hardware using HP Diagnostics as follows:
Start the PC. Repeatedly tap the "ESC" key.
Select "F2". Run system and component tests to confirm: a drive problem, a memory problem, or other component problem. Run extensive tests.
Check System Files:
Open an Admin command prompt as follows:
Open Search then enter "command prompt". Right-click on the search result.
Select "Run as Administrator".
Enter the following commands, one at a time. Wait for each command to complete before running the next command.
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
Enter the next command to verify system files are okay.
sfc /scannow
(note: the PC must be connected to the network when using the DISM command).
You may have to back up data, then do a HP Cloud Recovery or a Windows refresh/reset to check for system stability.
