not me, but a friend. their computer wont boot up and they just keep getting 3 long beeps and 3 short beeps. any help?

HP Desktop PCs - Computer Does Not Start and Emits an LED or Beep Code | HP® Customer Support

The red light blinks three times, and then three, short white light blinks (3 long red, 3 short white)

This condition indicates a potential graphic chip failure.

Contact HP Customer Support for further assistance.

 

if the computer is equipped with integrated video, and that a pci card is in place, remove the graphics card, and test on the integrated
Graphics card may be faulty
