Don't know why everyone seems to think a factory reset is a Miracle Cure that will fix anything that ails a computer. If there are any hardware issues, the reset will fail and render the computer unusable.
What is the issue you were trying to correct with the reset?

Fail to understand why everyone feels a Factory Reset is a Miracle Cure for anything that ails a PC.
If there is any hardware problem, the reset will fail, thus trashing the PC -- which is what appears to have happened in your case.
What was the problem you were trying to solve with the Factory Reset?
