Hi there
I currently have the HP connected via HDMI cable to a Yamaha 3060 receiver, which is connected to a Sony 65" 4k TV. The resolution on the HP is set to 3840x2160......the only option is 30Hz for refresh rate......do I need to use the display port/ buy a Display Port to HDMI adapter to get full 60z refresh/resolution?
I have updated the intel HD graphics card, and also tried a few diferent HDMI cables. The Yamaha and the Sony TV both support HDMI 2.0 up to 4k
Cheers, Darren

@sonusfaber1, welcome to the forum.
I believe that you will have to use the DisplayPort to get the resolution and refresh rate that you desire. I know that my monitor is only capable of 3840 x 2160 @60 using the DisplayPort.
