Welcome to HP Community

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

Please try these steps and let me know how it goes

Step 1. Type: Regedit in the search box, click "Regedit.exe" to open the Registry editor.

Step 2. Navigate to: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies

Step 3. Double-click on the "WriteProtect" value in the right-hand pane of Regedit.exe.

Step 4. Change the "Value" data from "1" to "0" and click "OK" to save the change.

Remove USB write protection by changing its key from Registry.

Step 5. Close Regedit and restart your computer.

Thank you

@Kalyan1999,

Follow the below steps and check if it helps.

  • Step 1. Connect your flash drive to the computer, and launch a command prompt by searching for cmd.exe or "Command Prompt" in the Start menu.
  • Step 2. Type the following and press Enter after each command: diskpartlist diskselect disk #(# means the name of your write-protected disk), attributes disk clear readonlycleancreate partition primaryformat fs=ntfs.

fix write-protected flash drive - Diskpart Command

  • Step 3. Exit the Command Prompt.

If you wish to show appreciation for my efforts, mark my post as Accept as Solution. Your feedback counts!

Cheers!
