how do I know if my computer has a port multiplier support function?

what exactly are you thinking, I don't know if it' s a translation problem, but it' s vague
if I search, with google for example, it mainly tells me special cards

System with port multiplier support generally have an external SATA connector to attach the external drive(s) to.  I did not see on in any picture of your AIO system.

I bough this back in March 2018 and you can see my "DOA" one star review as it did not work.

As you can see from my answer you have no possibility internally to add anything, there is no pci port

and I don't see how you could install this in a case of this type

all that is possible internally here is an m2 ssd
and a second internal hdd, if there are slots and connectors (for a model with original m2 ssd

Seems DOA. The LED powers up when connected to: Alienware Area51, XPS-435MT, Asus ROG Gene II, Surface Pro 4 All running Win10x64. Also tried Mac Air with High Sierra.
There is no response from the operating system when the device is plugged in, Neither Device Manager nor Mac's "finder" showed any device attached like USB or any disk drive for that matter.

For all the above systems, the instant it is connected all the lights flash on the iTank 5 drive subsystem indicating a scan of the drives, but again, nothing shows up either under disk drives nor under "USB" devices. I have plugged a lot of different USB devices into my systems over the years, everything from ASIC miners to mice, cameras, drives, adapters, etc. They all cause windows to "BEEP" unless they are dead. AFAICT this is dead and I initiated a return thru amazon. Would be nice if it would work as my Area51 does not currently support AHCI and that is needed to get a PCIe eSata controller card to work. I thought the $31 was a fair price to avoid changing Dells bios to AHCI and reinstalling windows."

The authors 24-N120qe does not support eSATA, there is no connector to attach an external drive enclosure.

Possibly a better USB to eSATA port multiplier adapter might work. 

I eventually switched to Synology NAS which is a far better option than using a port multiple to add a bunch of disk drives.

that's not exactly what i was asking
you indicated an article, but in comment that it does not seem to work, there was my doubt
had a simple usb key, to run several sata disk, it seems strange to me
