Hello, I recently purchased a new Sapphire RX 9060 XT 16GB GPU as an upgrade for my current RX 5500. After installation I get a "No Signal" message on my display. I re-installed the RX 5500, and it works ok. I've checked the connection from the PSU (the same 8 pin (6+2) that powered the RX 5500), and ensured the new GPU was seated properly in the slot. The two fans on the new GPU spin up, but I still get the "No Signal" message. I am at a loss as to what the issue is. My PSU is rated for 500w, which meets the card's 450w requirement. I researched the RX 9060 XT before purchasing and thought it was compatible with my system but now I'm wondering. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I should proceed? Is this GPU not compatible with my system? Thank you.

Greetings @Wedge313

Welcome to the HP Forum.

You might have to temporarily disable Secure Boot and enable Legacy support using the RX 5500 to get the 9060 working. Instructions are at this HP Site.

BIOS settings on retail MBs allow using custom Secure Boot keys to get around the new graphics card/factory Secure Boot key roadblock. I don't know if HP MBs have this custom key BIOS option.

- You would be setting up Legacy mode using the 5500.

- Install the 9060. You should now get video using the 9060.

- Then see if you can do Secure Boot using the 9060.

I would guess the 9060 might have a problem if it does not work using Legacy mode.

Can you try the 9060 in a different PC to verify?

Regards
