re-install Cyberlink Media Player from Hp recovery manager - can't see it listed - help

New PC - tried to play my first DVD in Clyberlink Power Media Player  - would not play

Went to HP solutions - they advised that all HP Pavilion PCs are shipped with this problem 

Advised to  unistall and reinstall

So I have unistalled and tried to reinstall thro Hp Recovery Manager - but can't find it listed there

Also tried to play DVD on WMP - that didn't work either 

Help please - any thoughts
