Hi:
HP no longer sells recovery media for any PC that came with XP or Vista.
Your PC can run W7 32 bit, but the graphics adapter does not support Windows Aero.
I can help you with finding drivers that work for W7 if you decide to upgrade.
The only place I know of that sells XP recovery disks for your PC would be this company located in the United States.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to because I don't know why that is happening.
I had a HP d530 CMT with the same chipset as yours and I was able to install W7 32 bit from a DVD just fine.
No problems encountered at all during the installation.
