I have found a brand new motherboard
All it reads is NEW HP ELITE e9000 P6777C H-RS880-uATX MOTHERBOARD 618937-001
My question is, will all H-RS880-uATX (Aloe) motherboards work with all models of HP who use this motherboard. Without any need for updates or reinstalling things? Or is there something specific on each model using the RS880-uATX
I simply want to install all my parts on to this new motherboard. without restalling anything. My video card isn't being recognized anymore & a bad motherboard. All the other components are less than a year old. So want to save this computer.
FYI- I am in deep Mexico so there isn't simply going to the store. It will take 2 weeks for things to arrive & no local help.

Greetings,
Welcome to the forum.
I am not a HP employee.
Here's the thing; a identical H-RS880-uATX HP motherboard will fit in your chassis correctly.
All components installed in the previous motherboard will work correctly if the components are good.
Are you positive the motherboard has failed?
The problem you may see is getting Microsoft to activate the HP version of Windows 7 installed on the HDD or SSD because it is tied to the HP motherboard that shipped with your PC.
You will usually have activation problems when you replace a OEM motherboard.

For the last 2yrs it would not boot the dual monitors. I would pull the video card and put back in and restart. Then it stopped booting and bought a new dual monitor card and wouldn't recognize it. Put the old one back in and still not recognizing it. Now only monitor will work in the motherboard video input.
Repair guy said the board was bad.
I don't want to thrash it because all the new stuff power supply, hard drive, ram, dual monitor video card.

So to answer my question as long as it's the same model motherboard they are all the same for HP? Or am I better finding one that's for my exact model HP computer.
The one I found is only $59 brand new unopened.

Hi,
A HP replacement motherboard having the same part number as the factory installed motherboard will work with your PC .
HP uses specific motherboards in different PCs. It is still the same part number.
But the replacement motherboard serial number will be different.
Microsoft will detect a new motherboard.
You may have a Windows 7 activation problem after installing the new motherboard.
Regards
