HP ENVY x360 15.6 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 15-ew0000 (549V5AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

so my laptop screen cracked, i've owned this device for a week and not once have i dropped it, scracthed it or shut it agressively yet a large crack has formed throughout my screen that is continuesly growing. i have a year factory warranty on it however hp will take this as a CID fault therefore it won't be covered and i don't know what to do. touchscreen won't even work and I don't understand how it could get damaged this fast. The battery also runs extremely fast and it keeps telling me to reset my laptop to update however it just doesnt update. i spent 800 pounds on this for the beginning on sixthform and i dont have the funds to now purchase the hp carepack but i believe this should be a free repair as i have not done anything. i'm quite disappointed and almost regret my purchase and i've struggled so much trying to find a support email i could send a message to for help so i;ve come on here. i'm only sixteen and i need this laptop for school so please respond.
