Let me take a moment to thank you for posting on the HP Support Forums.
I understand that you have an HP Omni 220-1150xt CTO Desktop PC. I read that while using the PC, the screen will flash red, green, yellow, white and then black as it shuts down. I'd like to assist you with this case.
To provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- Did any hardware changes take place on the PC recently?
- Did any software changes or updates happen on the printer?
- Does the PC shut down by itself after displaying a multi colored screen?
- Does the PC overheat?
I recommend you to perform the following steps to isolate the issue and arrive at a fix:
- Shutdown the PC.
- Disconnect the power cable and any other cables attached to it. Disconnect all devices from the PC.
- Press and hold the power button of the PC for 10 seconds and then release it.
- Reconnect the power cable, keyboard and mouse only.
- Power on the PC. Immediately keep hitting the f10 key on the keyboard (7-10 times) and the PC will boot to the BIOS screen.
- Let the PC be in the BIOS screen for sometime. Please observe the screen in BIOS and check if the issue persists or not.
- Also, please check if the PC shuts down in the BIOS.
If the issue persists in the BIOS then it indicates towards a hardware issue and you may reachout to our HP phone support to explore the service options for the PC.
I hope this information helps. Let me know what happens. Cheers! 🙂
