Shutting down due to graphics problems

@SL58 Ideally, when you go into the device manager by using Windows + X, and selecting it from the menu that appears on the screen, you go into the options for 'display adapters' and you uninstall the available options, it should remove the driver, when you restart the computer, and it is connected to the internet, it should automatically download and install the fresh copy of drivers for the display adapter.

That said, please answer the rest of my queries too, for better assistance.

Take care and good luck.

@SL58 Could you elaborate more on what this graphics problem is? So we can provide an accurate solution, that said, was it working fine before windows 10 was updated?

Have you reinstalled the graphics card drivers or updated the BIOS? If not, please do and get back to us with the details.

P.S: Welcome to HP Community 😉

Thanks for the reply.

Graphics card drivers are no longer available anywhere for uninstall-install. (Intel HD Graphics)

Intel Driver Support says the system is working fine. I haven't done anything with bios.

Thanks

Thanks for the help !  Seems to have helped, time will tell. I did not know the drivers automatically installed when the pc is restarted. This also got rid of a lot of system error pop-ups whenever the pc was started/restarted. Is there anything else I should check ? Thanks again !

HP Recommended

@SL58 When the PC is restarted after removing any driver, it would automatically reinstall a fresh copy and resolve such issues as mentioned earlier 🙂 And I'm glad its sorted for you, if you need anything else, feel free to get back to us any time, and no, you don't have to do anything else for now, except the below:

Will do & thanks again !

I do have another issue I don't think is related. Whenever a new tab or page is opened, it takes

@ least 30 seconds before I can type or scroll. Maybe pages/tabs loading very slow ?

HP Recommended

@SL58 Perhaps, you could check with an alternate browser, to identify if its an issue with the program or something to do with the device,

Also, try resetting the browser with the issue and try again.

I hope that helps!

Good luck. 🙂

Well it didn't take long before my tower went back to it's old tricks again. Even the Start Up System Error windows/pop-ups

as well.  I tried factory resetting several times & it wont do that either.
