Have a desktop which was updated from Windows 10 to Windows 11 but auto detect only shows Windows 10 on update site. Any word on when secure boot certificate will be updated for this?

If you are referring to your TP01-0066 PC, the latest BIOS update HP has for it is F.47.

HP Pavilion Desktop - TP01-0066 Software and Driver Details

Since this is a peer to peer forum and we don't work for or represent HP, no one here would be able to tell you if HP will release a new BIOS update for your PC that has support for the new secure boot certificates.

If you haven't updated the BIOS to F.47 you can do so without being in Windows if you don't want to update the BIOS in Windows 11 (The W10 file normally will work on most PCs running W11).

That info can be found under the below section at the link below:

Updating the BIOS manually from a USB Flash drive (outside of Windows)

When I go to HP support site and enter SN, operating system does not reflect Windows 11 update. What is frustrating is apparently HP and Microsoft are not getting together to update the BIOS in anticipation for the new certificates. I keep getting the event viewer message "updated certificates available but have not been applied to the device". It is as if Microsoft Updates cannot communicate with the desktop BIOS to update. I am not a tech person; I am a senior citizen who just wants to insure that my desktop is secure. The TP01-0066 was new enough to qualify for Windows 11 upgrade but HP won't support a BIOS update? Very frustrating.

I've been having the same problem with my laptop, FD0215DX. Just bought it this year and from what I have read, models after 2024 are supposed to already have the latest Secure Boot certificates. I have tried all troubleshooting from web searches and HP, but still get the certificate errors. I just hope we don't get locked out of our laptops one day because of it. I wish Microsoft and PC manufacturers would get their heads together and figure this stuff out.
