so. i have been trying for hours now. when i go to system info it shows secure boot as off. and when i go to my bios and enable it and click on save and exit and check system information, it still shows as off.
BIOS Version/Date AMI F.56, 10/24/2022
BIOS Mode UEFI
BaseBoard Product 8437
Secure Boot State Off
and yes legacy option is disabled
please help me because im so close from jumping of- nvm. just help me plz

Welcome to the HP Forum.

 

Try the following to see what happens:

 

Shut down your PC. Disconnect from AC power.

 

Then depress and hold down the power button a few times to drain residual MB power.

 

Remove the side access panel. Locate the CR2032 MB battery.

 

Remove the MB battery. Let the PC sit for about five minutes or so.

 

Reinstall the MB battery or, better yet, install a new MB battery.

 

This should set the BIOS to the factory setup which should have Legacy support off/Secure Boot on.

 

I can't find a newer BIOS update for your MB.

 

I don't know what else to suggest if clearing CMOS does not fix this problem.
