I have an HP Z2 Tower G9 Workstation that has quit powering on. I have tried unplugging everything powering it off and unplugging it to reboot it all unsuccessfully. 

I have since tried starting a service ticket with HP and the serial # I enter which is both in the email directly from HP where I ordered it and directly off my device, HP says it is not a an actual Serial #. Has anyone had this issue or know what I am doing wrong. 

Because of this I can not get help or my device warrantied. I only bought it about a year and a half ago.

Welcome to the HP English Community --

 

According to what I can find, the workstation tower should come with a three year Warranty.

 

I send a note to our Moderators with a request that someone take a look.

 

It may take a bit to get a response -- "we" are not an internal department in HP.

 

Hopefully they won't just point you back to the Support site.

 

If that happens, remind the agent that you've tried to submit the case and the online submission is refusing your serial number.
