should i update myIntel® UHD Graphics pc to intel® Arc™ & Iris® Xe Graphics - WHQL - Windows*

i went to intel support and i was told i have a graphics update but it gives a caution note on the driver. it says that i should install drivers from my manufacturer instead if there is any available. but i do not have a Iris® Xe Graphics but a ® UHD Graphics. i want to please know if its safe to download this graphics driver update from intel support for my system and graphics type and if it gives any boosted performance on my system if downloaded

Hi:

If your notebook only has the onboard Intel graphics, you should be able to update the driver from Intel.

The driver folder has drivers for both the Intel Iris and UHD graphics adapters.

If your notebook has a switchable graphics configuration such as Intel/Nvidia or Intel/AMD, you can only install the drivers HP has on your notebook's support page or the switchable graphics will no longer function properly.
