Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

we have a w10 comp. ever since we got it, it's been incredibly slow. I did everything possible (all official Microsoft instructions and more suggestions from posters on the Microsoft community site, up to reinstalling).  I asked here (see last post)if there's anything else I can do and it seems this model number isn't supported (see the two links below - drivers only go up to w8.1). is there any way I can get it to speed up?

Greetings,

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

Your PC is circa 2012. Aging chipset and hardware constraints create problems when running Windows 10.

HP does not support Windows 10 on your PC.

The processor cannot be upgraded.

You can add memory but this may not do much to improve performance.

You could install a SATA SSD. This is the best bang for the buck upgrade to improve operating system responsiveness.

Hardware upgrade results vary. No guarantees.

Regards
