I have my Pavilion with original 16gb of ram 8x8gb (3200mhz clockspeed)
I have now bought 32gb of ram 16x16gb with initial clockspeed 3200mhz.
They are stuck in 2166mhz speed.
I cant find anything in bios to change clockspeed or (X.M.P) i have the latest bios newly flashed.
F.21 11/27/2023
I want this to work with the right clockspeed.

Hi @patrikvall
Welcome to the HP Forum.
Memory over clocking is a complex subject. This is my general understanding on how this works.
Base DDR4 memory speed and timings are defined by JDEC. 2133 or 2400 are the two base memory speeds for DDR4 memory. RAM modules running at higher speeds and tighter timings are determined by: Intel XMP or AMD's DOCP specifications.
The MB manufacturer has to include the XMP or DOCP profiles in the BIOS settings to do memory overclocking above 2133 or 2400 using DDR4 memory.
HP MBs in the TG01-2xxx series don't include memory overclocking options in the BIOS.
However, HP has added Intel or AMD overclock profiles for specific memory modules that HP installs in the MBs used in the TG01-2xxx PCs.
Crucial Memory sells memory modules at higher clock speeds. Crucial states the memory modules are guaranteed to work with HP MBs. I don't know if Crucial memory modules will run above JDEC speeds on HP MBs.
