Hi @raju123456, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're having trouble getting your SSD to be recognized by your system. Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot and resolve this issue:

Check BIOS Settings:

  • Restart your computer and enter the BIOS/UEFI setup (usually by pressing a key like F2, F10, DEL, or ESC during startup).
  • Ensure that the SSD is detected in the BIOS. If it is, make sure the SATA mode is set to AHCI rather than RAID.

Update Drivers:

  • Open Device Manager (you can search for it in the Windows search bar).
  • Expand the "Disk drives" and "Storage controllers" sections.
  • Right-click on your storage controller and select "Update driver".
  • Choose "Search automatically for updated driver software" and let Windows find and install the latest drivers.

Initialize the SSD:

  • Open Disk Management (you can search for it in the Windows search bar).
  • If your SSD appears there but is unallocated, right-click on it and select "Initialize Disk".
  • Choose either MBR (Master Boot Record) or GPT (GUID Partition Table) as the partition style.

Check Physical Connections:

  • Ensure that all cables are securely connected to the SSD and the motherboard.
  • Try using a different SATA port or cable to rule out any hardware issues.

Update BIOS:

  • Check your HP website for any BIOS updates that might improve compatibility with your SSD

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
