stops at "Attempting Boot From Hard Drive"... (since power cut in May!)

have run diagnostics - drive memory all passed...

The only suggestion I can offer would be to see if you can reinstall W10.

 

Use the Microsoft media creation tool to make a bootable W10 installation flash drive from the link below:

 

Download Windows 10

 

After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your PC's support page:

I don't believe that model came with W10 from the factory, so when you get into the Windows setup steps you will first be asked to enter the version of W10 you want to install.  Select the version you were running at the time (probably W10 Pro).

 

Then you will be asked to enter a product key.  Select the 'I don't have a product key' option and W10 will install and activate after you are connected to the internet.
