The bios update increased boot time, and screen issues during boot up. Also notice numerous errors
in event viewer. The digital windows key is no longer being found by the system, and numerous other errors, and warnings.
Why are the roll back instructions not posted on the support website? This update came through from
windows update. I trusted it to be ok, and now regret having installed it; with no clear way to undo
the bios "update". It acts like it had a root kit onboard with the "update". What do I need now: a new motherboard? or a new computer? Another thing, is that Microsoft no longer offers a way to refuse an "update". I didn't expect malware like activity with a bios update, and just installed it. If you are reading this, and your computer works good, don't install this bios update. AMI F.30 rev a . HP support center is temporarily closed. They don't state why it had to be updated, or how to undo it.
