Hi @244264.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thanks for reaching out. I understand you're seeing the message: “Boot device not found. Please install an operating system on your hard disk” after running HP Recovery Manager on your HP Pavilion 595-P0039C Desktop. Let’s work together to identify what’s causing this and get you back up and running.

First, let’s run an HP Hardware Diagnostic Test and share the result:

Hard Drive test:

1) Shutdown the computer.

2) Turn the computer back on again and repeatedly tap on the ESC until a Startup menu appears.

3) Press F2 once.

4) Go to Component test.

5) From the list, run the Hard Drive (extensive) test.

Memory test:

1) Shutdown the computer.

2) Turn the computer back on again and repeatedly tap on the ESC until a Startup menu appears.

3) Press F2 once.

4) Go to Component test.

5) From the list, run the Memory (extensive) test.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
