Product: HP Laptop PC 15s-du3000
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
in this pc there is an extra slot of m.2 and i want to know which type of ssd does it support m.2 sata ssd or m.2 nvme ssd also tell the generation of ssd is m.2 nvme gen 4 is compatible with it or not

If the notebook has an Intel core processor, it has a M.2 slot that supports NVMe SSD's.
The PCIe generation of the slot is 3.0.
A PCIe Gen 4.0 SSD would work but would not run at its maximum advertisted read/write speeds from the Gen 3.0 slot.
