I just bought this desktop Feb 13th and it crashed the very first day. I had not downloaded or installed anything at all. It was just sitting on the desk, turned on, and not being used when it crashed. Had to use the troubleshooter and run the recovery system. It worked for a day, then froze up just like before. I shut it down, then it would not boot at all. I called HP and spent hours on the phone running all the tests with them remote-ing in via my phone. Nothing worked, so they sent me the media recovery USB. I have followed the instructions to the letter twice, but it fails to do a factory reset. Says there is a wimsfs. sys error and gives me the blue screen of death. Any help would be appreciated!
