Hi:

Unfortunately it isn't.

The onboard Integrated AMD Radeon 4200 graphics adapter has no support for the later versions of W10.

What kind of issues are you experiencing during the upgrade process?

You might be able to get W10 to work by installing a cheap legacy graphics card such as an AMD Radeon HD 6450, but I can't guarantee it.

You can find one in used but tested and working condition on eBay.

I see them for as low as $9.00.  The ones that indicate they are for Dell PC's should also work in an HP PC.

New, they are about $45.00, and I don't recommend spending that amount of money without a 100% chance of a successful upgrade to W10.

oh nuts I guess I'll need a new card. thank you, it explains why it will not finish the loading of windows 10...resets back to 7 while down loading and installing updates

You're very welcome.

I don't know if you can still select the skip check for updates.

I always did because it took a million years for that to work.

I just went straight on with the update.
