Hi, I upgraded my all-in-one (Intel Core i5-8400T) from win10 (home 64) to win11, without errors. but after starting the systems shuts to standby every 10 seconds. after which I have to login again. but the problem continues. this is unworkable. for that I had to downgrade to win10 again.
I tryed this now 3 times in last month. same result everytime. All the HP and windows drivers are up to date. Also no issues reported in HP Support Assistent also.
Anybody experienced the same. is it related to settings in win 11? or incompatible drivers?
any help is welcome

Hi,
I would think it is a Power Option problem. But 10 seconds does not give you enough time to look at Power Option settings.
I would stay on W10. Microsoft will support W10 for a while. I am running W11 on some PCs. W11 is okay but seems to be W10 with minor user interface changes. W11 was designed to work with Intel 12th gen processors using efficiency cores.
You have an Intel 8th gen processor.
You could try a clean W11 installation. Have to jump through many hoops.
You have to back up data. Will lose some HP software. I don't know if you want to go there.
Regards
