@Rynote8 , welcome to the Community.
Since MS has discontinued support of Win 7, you should use the following tool to install Win 10: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
It will allow you to choose which version of Win 10 that you want to install during the setup. Also, you can say you don't have a Product Key and add it later, if necessary.
Please click the Thumbs up + button if I have helped you and click Accept as Solution if your problem is solved.

I tried doing the update like it was suggested. I had to factory default the computer to make sure it had enough memory. Now I'm getting another error that I investigated to find out that I need to install a small update called update pack 1 to get the computer ready for the regular update. Has engine ever heard about this? And am I moving in the right direction? Owe and another thing, I keep getting this message saying that a script is loading to slow and will make the computer unresponsive if I don't stop it. I don't know how to change that. Thoughts? Sorry for the vague explanation but I'm in the car i will try to post with a little bit more detail.

Thank you for the additional information, @Rynote8!
What is the Product Number of the computer? I need this information to review the specifications of it. Please don't furnish the Serial # or other personal information. You can find the Product Number at the bottom of the page when you open HP Support Assistant. I was trying to help without the PN, but I need to see the Product Specifications.
