Hi @JAY1379,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.

I see that you are facing an issue uninstalling the HP support assistant.

If you have the latest version of HP Support Assistant, proceed as follows to uninstall it:

  1. Click the Start menu.
  2. Right-click HP Support Assistant, then click More, and then click App Settings.
  3. Click Uninstall, then click Uninstall.

If you have an older version of HP Support Assistant, do the following to uninstall it:

  1. On the keyboard, press the Windows and R keys simultaneously. The Run window opens.
  2. Type appwiz.cpl, then press Enter key. The Programs and Features window opens.
  3. Right-click HP Support Assistant, then click Uninstall, and then click Yes.
  4. Click Yes.

Once this is done, HP Support Assistant is uninstalled and restart your PC once.

Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a great day ahead!
