Hi @Thrizinom,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP All-in-One Desktop displaying the BIOS system screen upon startup!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Check BIOS Settings:

  • During startup, you can access the BIOS settings by pressing the designated key (usually F10, ESC, or Del) before the system boots.
  • Ensure the boot sequence is set correctly to boot from the hard drive where your operating system is installed.

Update BIOS:

  • Check for any BIOS updates available for your model. Updating the BIOS can sometimes resolve system startup issues. Visit the HP Support website for any available updates specific to your model.

Check for Error Messages:

  • When the BIOS screen appears, check for any error messages that might indicate what needs attention. Common messages include boot device errors or hardware connection issues.

Hardware Checks:

  • Ensure that all internal components, such as memory modules and storage drives, are properly seated and connected.
  • If you've recently made hardware changes, double-check those installations.

Boot Order Configuration:

  • Verify that the primary hard drive is listed first in the boot order. If an incorrect device is set as the primary boot device (like a USB or network), adjusting this order can resolve the issue.

BIOS Defaults:

  • Consider restoring BIOS settings to default. This can fix configuration changes that may have been made inadvertently.
