Unfortunately, this has nothing whatsoever to do with HP and nothing that HP can affect.

 

Microsoft (MS) had serious issues with the 20.04 Windows 10 version, so much so that they suspected the update and then put a lock on lots and lots of PCs.  Over time, then have fixed many of their issues and have removed many of the locks.  But despite MS now saying that 20.04 is ready for widespread use, they still have some PCs locked -- and as is usually the case, are not willing to provide us or anyone else info on when they will release those locks.
