The spec page on the hp elitedesk 800g1 indicates it has an integrated Intel Ethernet I210-T1 Gigabit Network adapter and/or Intel Centrino Advance-N 6205 Wireless Network Interface Connection

It also indicates it could have had Windows 7 or Windows 8 or FreeDOS installed.  Assuming that is not longer the case, please consider that it might have been upgraded to a different/newer OS and the driver for the integrated adapter is missing.

Look in Device Manager for the adapter and post the Hardware ID so the needed driver can be found.  Also indicate the current OS.
