Hi @Raveendrareddy,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The issue you're experiencing with your HP Pavilion 14 laptop, where it's connected to Wi-Fi but shows "No Internet," can be caused by several factors. Let's go through some troubleshooting steps to identify and resolve the problem.
Troubleshooting Steps
Check Other Devices:
- Ensure that other devices connected to the same Wi-Fi network have internet access. This helps confirm if the issue is specific to your laptop.
Restart Your Devices:
- Restart your laptop, Wi-Fi router, and modem. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.
Forget and Reconnect to Wi-Fi Network:
- On your laptop, forget the Wi-Fi network and then reconnect to it.
- Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi > Manage known networks.
- Select the Wi-Fi network and click on Forget.
- Reconnect to the Wi-Fi network by selecting it and entering the password.
Update Network Drivers:
- Ensure that your network drivers are up to date.
- Open Device Manager.
- Expand Network adapters.
- Right-click on your Wi-Fi adapter and select Update driver.
- Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.
Run Network Troubleshooter:
- Run the built-in network troubleshooter.
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.
- Select Internet Connections and click on Run the troubleshooter.
Check IP Configuration:
- Ensure your IP configuration is set to obtain IP address and DNS server address automatically.
- Open Control Panel.
- Go to Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings.
- Right-click on your Wi-Fi connection and select Properties.
- Double-click on Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4).
- Ensure both Obtain an IP address automatically and Obtain DNS server address automatically are selected.
Flush DNS and Reset TCP/IP:
- Use Command Prompt to flush DNS and reset TCP/IP settings.
- Open Command Prompt as an administrator.
- Type the following commands and press Enter after each:
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
netsh int ip reset

Check for Windows Updates:
- Make sure your Windows OS is up to date.
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates.
Disable Power Management for Wi-Fi Adapter:
- Ensure the Wi-Fi adapter is not being turned off to save power.
- Open Device Manager.
- Expand Network adapters.
- Right-click on your Wi-Fi adapter and select Properties.
- Go to the Power Management tab.
- Uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
Check Router Settings:
- Ensure there are no issues with the router's settings. You might want to restart the router or check if any specific settings are causing the issue.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
