Product: HP ENVY Desktop PC TE01-3000i (4M0M1AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

all of a sudden when trying to shut this computer down it goes through the shutdown procedure and stops when it gets to powering down to finish. I have also noticed that when i have to restart it will also go through the procedure and when it gets to where it shuts off the power and restarts it it stops. then to make it finish I have to press and hold the power button as in a manual shut down. can you help me?

Hi @37hotrod 

 

In windows search type CMD, in the result click run as administrator and type (One at a time and then enter)

 

sfc /scannow

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth
Dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

 

then restart windows and check.
