I tried to restore my HP Compaq 6200 (now running Windows 10) to a disk image created in Windows 7.  It said that the BIOS was changed to EFI and the recovery would not work.  Will I be able to recover Windows 7  if I use the recovery disks?

Hi:

Disable the UEFI boot options menu, and you should be able to use your disk image.

If that doesn't work, then you will have to use the recovery disks with UEFI boot disabled.

Boot from the legacy DVD drive.
